Song

Song Yoonhyung more known now as Song is a member of the k-pop boy group iKON formed by YG Entertainment. Before he became known as Song, he was first introduced as a YG trainee at the survival program WIN: Who Is Next. He was part of Team B on the program together with other future iKON members. Team B competed alongside Team A (consisting of Winner members) but in the end, Team A won. Even though Team B didn’t win, the members were given the opportunity to debut. After a year of WIN: Who Is Next, YG Entertainment decided to debut Team B under the name iKON. On September 15, 2015, iKON made its debut with the title track “My Type.” The track easily became a hit and even received a triple crown on the Gaon chart. Since its debut, almost every release of iKON became successful. iKON became one of the most popular boy groups of their generation. Just like other iKON members, Song also participated in several variety programs. In 2018, the group even became more successful after the release of their 2018 song “Love Scenario.” The song became widely popular and even kids and adults knew the song. The track stayed on the Korean charts for a long time. iKON is known for its songs My Type, Rhythm Ta, Killing Me, Dumb and Dumber, Love Scenario, and more. In 2019, Song started his own Youtube channel wherein he shares his daily life as well as his cooking skills. In 2020, iKON also joined the program Kingdom: Legendary War together with other four k-pop boy groups.
