Kim Min Seok more known as XIUMIN is a member of the k-pop boy group EXO created by SM Entertainment. He is the lead vocalist and lead dancer of the group. He was first included in the unit EXO-M, together with some Chinese members. Xiumin made his official debut on April 8, 2012, with the Chinese version of “Mama.” EXO got the public’s attention after their album XOXO with lead single Growl was released. This album also gave them the title million-seller. This album also broke the record and made EXO the first South Korean artist to reach the milestone after 12 years. EXO is also known as the sextuple million sellers. EXO has received over 23 grand prize awards. EXO is one of the best groups of their generation. Some of the publicly known songs of EXO are Growl, Miracles In December, Call Me Baby, Overdose, Love Me Right, Monster, Ko Ko Bop, Love Shot, and more. Aside from actively participating in EXO’s promotions, Xiumin also took part in musicals, variety shows, drama OSTs, hosting, and more. In 2015, Xiumin took on the challenge and started his acting career. He showed his acting skills in EXO’s drama EXO Next Door. He was also part of the web series Falling for Do Jeon. In 2016, Xiumin also starred in the historical movie Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River. In October 2016, Xiumin also joined the first official sub-unit of EXO called EXO-CBX. On May 7, 2019, Xiumin officially began his military duties. Two days after his enlistment, his solo track You was released as a gift to fans. On December 6, 2020, Xiumin was officially discharged from the military.
