VIXX is a k-pop boy group formed by Jellyfish Entertainment. The group started with six members such as N, Leo, Ravi, Ken, Hyuk, and Hongbin. Hongbin left the group in 2020. VIXX is known for being the concept-dols because of their unique concepts and performances every comeback. Before the members became part of VIXX, the first starred in the survival program MyDol. VIXX made its debut on May 24, 2012, with the title track Super Hero. The group had decent results since its debut. They also collaborated with the artists under their management. The group also garnered a lot of local fans. In 2013, VIXX officially got their first-ever music show win through their song Voodoo Doll. Since then, more and more discovered VIXX and its unique concepts. Members also actively participated in several activities such as variety programs, dramas, musicals, and more. They also embarked on different countries for their concerts. Aside from local fans, the group also gained lots of fans around the globe. In 2015, VIXX launched its first-ever subunit called VIXX LR consisting of members Leo and Ravi. The group continued to promote active and in most of their comebacks, the group got over 50,000 album copies sold. Some of the popular songs from VIXX are Chained Up, Voodoo Doll, Shangrila, Love Equation, and more. In 2019, VIXX started with their military enlistments. In the same year, only Leo, Ken, Hongbin, and Hyuk renewed their contracts with Jellyfish Entertainment. Although Ravi is not part of the company anymore, he is still part of VIXX. In October 2020, leader N’s contract with the company expired. He decided not to renew and just like Ravi, he is still part of VIXX.
