Seungkwan

Boo Seungkwan is a member of Pledis Entertainment’s second boy group called Seventeen. He is one of the main vocalists of the group. He is also the most active member of variety shows. Before Seungkwan became famous as a Seventeen member, he first participated in several activities by Pledis Entertainment. He participated together with other trainees in different kinds of online streaming events. On May 26, 2015, his group Seventeen officially made a debut with the song Adore You. When Seventeen debuted, the group got decent results and even had a large fandom. In 2016, they became even more famous after their tracks Pretty U and Very nice. Since then, Seventeen’s career blossomed and they became one of the best boy groups of their generation. The group is not only famous in Korea but it also has a large global fandom. They have sold out concerts worldwide. If you know these songs: Pretty U, Very Nice, Don’t Wanna Cry, Mansae, Clap, BoomBoom, and more, they are from Seventeen. Seventeen is not only famous but they are also record-breaking sellers. Over the years, the group has already sold over 5 million physical album copies. 2018 was the year Seungkwan became active in different promotions. He sang for a drama, he participated in several variety shows, and he even debuted as a member of Seventeen’s subunit BookSeokSoon. In the same year, Seungkwan got his first-ever solo award which is the Rookie award at the 2018 MBC Entertainment Awards. In 2018, Seungkwan lent his voice to the drama Mother. In 2020, he also participated in the OST of the drama Record Of Youth. In 2021, he was one of the OST singers for the Lovestruck in the City series. Seungkwan is the most active member in Seventeen on variety shows. He was part of the programs Unexpected Q, Prison Life of Fools, Five Cranky Brothers, Job Dongsan, Racket Boys, and Idol Dictation Contest. SEVENTEEN will make a comeback in May 2022.
