Hyun Seunghee is a member of the group Oh My Girl. She is the main vocalist of the group and one of the most active members of variety shows. Before she became part of Oh My Girl, Seunghee joined several singing content on television. She was even called the little BoA. She was also one of the backup singers of Sunmi’s Full Moon song. She also trained in Brave Entertainment and two years later, she transferred to WM Entertainment. On April 20, 2015, Seunghee debuted as a member of Oh My Girl, formed by WM Entertainment. They released their title track Cupid. They are the sister group of B1A4 and the first girl group from the agency. In the early days of its career, Oh My Girl got decent results for its promotions. Some of their songs were also well received by the public. Some of the songs were “Secret Garden,” “Liar Liar,” “Closer,” “Windy Day,” and more. In 2015 as well, Seunghee also ventured into acting. She made a special appearance in the drama Loss:Time:Life. In 2016, Seunghee participated in the program Girl Spirit together with other idols. This was one of the first variety programs that Seunghee joined. Since then, she had guested in several programs. In 2019, together with MAMAMOO, AOA, Park Bom, Lovelyz, and (G)I-dle, Oh My Girl joined the program Queendom. This gave Oh My Girl more opportunity to be known in public. In 2020, Oh My Girl became even more famous because of their album Nonstop. Two songs from the album such as Nonstop and Dolphin became well-loved not only in Korea but also by k-pop fans around the world. Oh My Girl became one of the most famous girl groups of their generation. In the same year, Seunghee also became a regular member of the program Not Soccer or Baseball. She also acted once again through KBS drama special Turtle Channel. In 2021, Oh My Girl continued to dominate music charts. With the release of their song Dun Dun Dance, Oh My Girl maintained the hype of their career. In 2021 as well, Seunghee got another gig and she hosted the tv show Friends.
