Park Bom

Park Bom is a member of the first k-pop girl group 2NE1 formed by YG Entertainment. She is the main vocalist of the group. Before she became a member of 2NE1, she first made releases and collaborated with labelmates Bigbang, Masta Wu, and more. On May 17, 2009, Park Bom officially made her debut in the industry through the group 2NE1. After her group 2NE1 debuted, they already hit fame. They were the talk of the town and the public liked them instantly for their unique girl crush concept. Most of their tracks took the number one spot on Korean charts. The group is also one of the k-pop groups with the most hit songs. 2NE1 became one of the most successful groups in their generation. Each member including Bom is known not only by the fans but also by the general public. In the same year of their debut, Park Bom released her first-ever solo single titled You and I. It took the number one spot on Gaon Music Chart and also got an award at Mnet Asian Music Awards. She then collaborated with different singers such as GD&Top, Park Myung Soo, Lee Hi, and more. She was also active in variety shows. In 2011, she released another solo track titled Don’t Cry. The song was successful once again and took over several Korean charts. Some of the popular songs from 2NE1 are Fire, I Am The Best, I Don’t Care, Ugly, Come Back Home, and more. 2NE1 is not only popular in Korea but they also have a massive fandom overseas. In November 2016, YG Entertainment announced that 2NE1 officially disbanded. In 2017, the three members CL, Dara, and Park Bom released their final song “Goodbye.” In 2018, it was revealed that Park Bom will return to the industry through the new agency D Nation Entertainment. In March 2019, she released a new song called Spring featuring 2NE1 member Dara. The song also did well on the charts. In the same year, she also appeared in the program Queendom. In 2022, she started the year by releasing a collaboration track with Melomance Kim Min Seok called Flower. In the same year, 2NE1 surprised everyone at Coachella when the group reunited and performed I Am The Best.
