Hong Jisoo more known as Joshua is a member of the top k-pop boy group Seventeen created by Pledis Entertainment. He is one of the vocalists of the group. Before he made his debut, Joshua trained for 2 years and 2 months. He also participated in several activities of Pledis Entertainment for their trainees such as online streaming shows and such. Joshua made his official debut on May 26, 2015, together with other Seventeen members. They released the song Adore You. Since its debut, Seventeen has already gotten decent results. They also have high sales and big fandom. But in 2016, the group’s career even skyrocketed after they release their tracks Pretty U and Very Nice. Since then, they became one of the top boy groups of their generation. Aside from being famous in Korea, the group is also globally known. They have sold out world tour concerts and even in Japan, they are also famous and their Japanese albums also have high sales. Seventeen is popular because of the songs Pretty U, Very Nice, Don’t Wanna Cry, Mansae, Clap, BoomBoom, and more. Seventeen has sold over 5 million physical album copies since 2015. Aside from being a member of Seventeen, Joshua is also known for being a good MC. He has MCed several music programs and events. He also wrote songs for Seventeen. Some of the songs written by Joshua are Rock With You, Falling For U, Rocket, and more. In 2019, Joshua made his first acting through the drama A-Teen 2. He made a special appearance in the series.
