Hyunsik

Im Hyunsik is a member of the k-pop boy group BTOB formed by Cube Entertainment. He is also the son of Im Ji Hoon, a popular folk singer in Korea. He is the lead vocalist of the group. He made his official debut on March 21, 2012, with the album Born To Beat with the title track “Insane.” BTOB became more famous in the year 2015. At first, the group was not as popular as the other idols who debuted at the same time as them. Although BTOB is not super popular, the members did their best in making their name known by participating in several programs. In 2015, BTOB’s name finally became known in the industry. They also received their first music show win in 2015. They are one of the kpop groups who got their first win late. In 2016, Hyunsik became a member of BTOB’s subunit BTOB Blue. They released the track Stand By Me. Aside from the songs, BTOB also became popular because each member contributed with different promotions. Some got into entertainment programs, dramas, MCing, and more. The group as well became known as a funny group. Hyunsik is known for being the composer of most of the hits of BTOB. He wrote the songs Star, Killing Me, I'll Be Your Man (Pray), Missing You, Only One for Me, and Beautiful Pain. In 2019, Hyunsik made his solo debut. He released his first solo album Rendez-vous. BTOB had already promoted ten mini albums and two studio albums since its debut. Some hit songs from BTOB are Missing You, It’s Okay, Beep Beep, Way Back Home, Movie, Pray, Beautiful Pain, and more. In May 2020, Hyunsik entered the military. In November 2021, Hyunsik got officially discharged from service and returned to BTOB.
