Choi Hyojung is a member of the k-pop girl group Oh My Girl created by WM Entertainment. It is the first girl group formed by the agency. Hyojung is the leader and the lead vocalist of the group. Hyojung made her official debut on April 20, 2015, together with the other members. They released their debut track Cupid. Since its debut, Oh My Girl got a decent fandom. Their songs are also charted on several music sites. In 2018, Hyojung made her debut in Oh My Girl’s sub unit called Oh My Girl Banhana. In 2019, Oh My Girl joined the entertainment program Queendom. While they were on the show, many have discovered their talent and their fandom grew more. In 2020, Oh My Girl’s career skyrocketed even more. After they released their album “Nonstop,” Oh My Girl became more booked and busy. Two of the songs from the album dominated the charts for several weeks. Nonstop and Dolphin became Korea’s anthem and fans and nonfans knew about the song. Because of this, Oh My Girl became one of the most talked-about groups of the year. Members of the group including Hyojung also became regular guests on variety shows. In the same year, Hyojung became a DJ and MC at Naver Now's Avenger Girls and OnStyle's Get It Beauty. She also participated in the OST of the SBS drama Hyena. Since then, Hyojung has starred in several programs and showcased her different talents. Hyojung is one of the most active members who goes on different shows. In 2021, Oh My Girl continued to soar higher. As they released their track Dun Dun Dance, more opportunities came to the girls. The track topped the charts and also cemented Oh My Girl as one of the top girl groups of their generation. Oh My Girl is known for its songs “Secret Garden,” “Liar Liar,” “Closer,” “Windy Day,” “Nonstop,” “Dolphin,” “Dun Dun Dance,” and more. In March 2022, Oh My Girl released a new album called Real Love.
