Kim Chungha is a soloist and a former I.O.I member. Chungha was introduced to the public as an MNH Entertainment trainee through the survival program program Produce 101. Since the beginning of the program, Chungha is one of the most talked-about trainees. In May 2016, Chungha got into the final 11 and debuted as a member of the project group called I.O.I. She ranked fourth out of 101 contestants. In 2017, after almost a year of promoting as a group, I.O.I disbanded and Chungha returned as an MNH trainee. On June 6, 2017, Chungha officially debuted as a soloist. She released her track Why Don’t You Know. Her solo debut became successful. She was invited to several variety programs. Chungha continued to release music. In 2018, she released songs Roller Coaster and Love U which also did well on several music charts. In 2019, her track Gotta Go became a viral hit and it dominated Korean music charts. Other idols also danced to the track and everyone is singing and danced along to it. Chungha became one of the most successful out of all the Produce 101 participants. She is also considered one of the top solo artists of her generation. Aside from topping charts and going viral, Chungha also raked several awards. Chungha also collaborated with several top singers in Korea and abroad such as Colde, R3hab, TVXQ Changmin, Super Junior’s Yesung, Paul Kim, and many more. Chungha’s latest release was in November 21 with the single Killing Me.
